Essential fatty acids are important to living a healthy life.

  1. We need much more fat energy then people would like to realize.
  2. If carbohydrates are stored as fat energy , it will weigh twice the amount that fat energy does.
  3. Carrying the necessary energy reserves as fats in the form of tryglycerides, rather than bulky carbohydrates in the form of glycogen, is key to maintaining healthy reserves.

 

Questions to Ponder:

  1. Healthy fatty acid deficiency is an epidemic. Do I consume enough healthy fats?
  2. Do I know what qualifies as a healthy fat? Or am I fat phobic because the mainstream tells us they are bad? How can I change my habits?
